ABCOrder 1.0.3 Released

ABCOrder 1.0.3 is now available on the Apple AppStore.

This version support iOS 5 (previous versions had some crash issues when running on iOS 5).

Thank you to the users that reported these issues - you did a great job helping locate the source of the problems!

  1. I want to use this in my schools, but our ipods (over 1800 district wide) will not allow us to update to iOS 5. We are updated to the version 4.2.1. This is the highest iOS that we can use. Is there any way that we can purchase this app using that version?

  2. Oops - that one was my fault! Looks like when I worked on the updates to make it not crash on iOS 5, I must have accidentally flipped a "make it only available for iOS 5" button. The app does run fine on 4.2.1 - I will need to figure out what I did wrong there and submit a new version to Apple to get that correct.

I will post here as soon as it is available. Sorry about that!

  3. I submitted a change yesterday that should hopefully allow it to work with 4.2.x. Typically Apple takes a few days for approval - once it is there, I will verify it works with 4.2.x and post the results here. Thanks again for contacting me to help get this resolved!

  4. Karen,
ABCOrder 1.0.4 got approved by Apple last night. You should now be able to download and run it on your iOS version 4.2.1.

Let me know how it goes! Thanks!

  5. Matt,
Thank you for making the adjustment. It works great and I have purchased 75 copies to be used at my two schools. I will also pass on the good news to our other schools.

  6. Karen,
Glad to hear that took care of the issue. Apple changed the whole set of development tools pretty significantly during the iOS 5 release, and I appreciate you letting me know that something wasn't quite right! Thank you very much for the word of mouth to the other schools - it is GREATLY appreciated!!
